Ficus pumila quercifolia | To transplant
Ficus quercifolia is relatively rare in cultivation and quite fragile but once established it will give an incomparable effect, particularly in a planted terrarium and paludarium.
Slow growing, this Ficus particularly appreciates constant humidity which can be provided by a xaxim plate and low to moderate light.
Upon receipt of the branches to be replanted (delivered in boxes full of rehydrated sphagnum moss , ideal for transport), place them on a suitable support . Ficus pumila roots easily and quickly provided that the support is kept moist but not waterlogged!
