copy of Ernest Plectranthus
Plectranthus venteri , now classified as Coleus venteri , is native to the rocky and arid areas of South Africa . Botanically, this Lamiaceae is distinguished by its fleshy and aromatic (rather lemony) foliage, covered with glandular hairs.
Although drought tolerant and sun loving, it can be grown in an open terrarium , where its habit and olfactory interest are appreciated, provided excellent drainage and sufficient ventilation are ensured to avoid stagnant moisture.
