Place it in a bright spot but without direct sunlight, which could burn its delicate leaves. It tolerates low light, but its growth will be slower and it may become less dense.
Watering
Water regularly to keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid overwatering. Allow the soil to dry out on the surface between waterings.
Reduce watering in winter when growth slows.
Pilea depressa prefers high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidifier, especially in winter when indoor air is drier.
Use a well-draining potting soil, such as a houseplant mix with a little perlite or sand to improve drainage.
This plant prefers temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. It does not like cold drafts or temperatures below 10°C.
Fertilize during the active growing season (spring and summer) with a liquid houseplant fertilizer every 4 to 6 weeks. Avoid fertilizing in winter.
