Juncu mini cultivation advice
Light
Juncus mini thrives in sunny to partially shaded locations. Be sure to provide it with at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for optimal growth.
Water
This plant likes consistently moist to soggy soil. If you grow it in a water garden or pond, make sure the water level remains constant and it doesn't dry out. Avoid standing water, however, which could promote the development of rot.
Ground
Juncus thrives in a wide variety of soil types but particularly appreciates living sphagnum moss and good quality blond peat .
Size
Juncus does not generally require regular pruning but tolerates it very well.
Spread
This plant propagates easily by division of clumps. You can divide established clumps in the spring to create new plants. Make sure each division has healthy roots and stems to ensure the success of the new plant.
Cleaning
Regularly remove debris and dead leaves from the base of the plant to avoid any accumulation of decomposing organic matter, which could encourage the development of diseases.
