Sarracenia flava var. maxima
Sarracenia flava maxima is a variety of large and magnificent Sarracenia whose pitchers reach a height of 1 meter and whose width of its tubes allows it to capture a large quantity of insects including the famous Asian hornets as well as Sarracenia flava var. atropurpurea .
From October to April (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia flava var. maxima is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in the spring even if, generally, the foliage holds during the bad season.
