Sarracenia flava var. rugelii
In the splendid Sarracenia family, Sarracenia rugelii produces light green radical leaves. A red spot extends from the base of the cap to the upper part of the tube, on the side of its opening. This red mark sometimes extends inside the urn, as well as on the lower face of the cap, while diminishing. Depending on the strains, it is more or less wide and clear: there are sometimes several "satellite" spots around the main one.
From October to April (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia flava var. rugelii is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in the spring even if, generally, the foliage holds during the bad season.
The size indicated in the product description is that of the foliage in summer.
