Carnivorous plant whose pitchers remain low. The leaves, very pubescent, are covered with a network of red veins which darken over the course of the season.
Its hood is slightly wavy.
In the same pot, an interesting marriage with other more slender sarracenias of different colors.
From October to March (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia purpurea venosa var Montana is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in the spring.
