This rare and superb hybrid Sarracenia was selected for its very marked white color due to the double presence of Sarracenia leucophylla in its parents, one of which naturally has more white.
Parentage: [(leucophylla x purpurea) x leucophylla 'white top'].
The influence of the carnivorous plant Sarracenia purpurea can be seen in the shorter, rounded shape and in the intense purple colour of the upper part of the pitchers.
From October to March (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia leucophylla 'white top' x (x mitchelliana) is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in spring.
