This large and magnificent Sarracenia is present in the peat bogs of Florida and Louisiana where it forms impressive clumps. The height of Sarracenia flava of nearly 1 meter and the width of its tubes allows it to capture a large quantity of insects including the famous Asian hornets just like Sarracenia flava var. maxima .
From October to April (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia flava is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in the spring even if, generally, the foliage holds during the bad season.

12 cm pot: 25 to 45 cm high
