Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi
In the splendid Sarracenia family, Sarracenia rubra wherryi is native to a very small geographical area, located in the Perdido region, in southern Alabama (United States). This Sarracenia produces slightly squat pitchers, nicely coppery from the base to the hood, as well as a fine hairiness, soft to the touch as for Sarracenia alata 'pubescens' .
From October to April (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia rubra ssp. wherryi is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in the spring.
20 to 25 cm high. The size indicated in the product description is that of the foliage in summer.
