Superb Sarracenia natural hybrid between Sarracenia psittacina and Sarracenia leucophylla.
Nature has done things well since it has preserved the most typical characteristics of the two parent Sarracenias , namely very leaning pitchers with a parrot's beak shape (inherited from S. psittacina), but larger and with white on their upper part (inherited from S. leucophylla).
Parentage: psittacina x leucophylla 'white top'.
As its name suggests, its pitchers have much more white than on the classic Sarracenia x wrigleyana . This splendid coloration is induced by hybridization with a S. leucophylla with very white pitchers. A rare hybrid, essential for all amateurs of carnivorous plant .
From October to April (rest period) , the foliage of the plant partially disappears. The Sarracenia x wrigleyana 'white form' is then delivered in the form of a rhizome still rooted in a pot and ready to start again in spring.
