This carnivorous plant is very surprising and unique in its kind. It stands out from other Pinguicula by its thick tentacle leaves covered in glue, which do not resemble the usual flat leaves of these plants, and which unfold in the manner of Drosera filiformis . Its color ranges from acid green to full pink-mauve.
It grows wonderfully in almost entirely mineral soil, which must remain dry from November to March, when the plant is in a hibernacula state.
