Biochar is easy to use and suitable for all crops (pots, planters, open ground, seedlings, etc.).
Recommended dosage (potted substrates): Incorporate Biochar at a rate of 5% to 10% of the total volume of your potting soil or growing mix
Recommended dosage (open ground): Incorporate it into the first 10 to 20 centimeters of soil at the time of planting or by scratching into the surface.
Ideal Mix: It combines perfectly with potting soil, compost, perlite, vermiculite and coconut fibers.

The trick: Before using it, pre-charge your biochar. You can soak it for 24 hours in a diluted fertilizer solution or, ideally, mix it with one to two times its volume of mature compost for one to two weeks. This biological or chemical "charge" ensures that it immediately functions as a nutrient reservoir.
