Tubes for wild bees - Refuge

€49.00

Wild bees need us, even though we need them so much. We know this well, since we produce our own seeds .

These tubes are made of Japanese knotweed , an invasive plant, and harvested in Alsace with the greatest care in winter when the plant has completely dried and lignified to make a problem part of the solution...

Particularly effective, these tubes are colonized from the first year by several types of solitary bees (see photo: some tubes are capped with earth, others with grass, etc.).

Please note that this material is also used in street furniture which has received a prize from the Ministry of Ecological Transition and ADEME.

Allow approximately 250 tubes per carton . Contact us for large volumes.

How to use wild bee tubes

Although our tubes are naturally capped at the back, it is still essential that the structure in which you are going to place them is also closed at the back.

Arrange your tubes facing south or south-east preferably.

After 3 years of use, you can replace your tubes to ensure that they are particularly colonized.
