The crocodile fern, also called Asplenium Crocodyllus, is not named for nothing, its leaves are reminiscent of the scales of a crocodile.
Microsorum crocodyllus grows vigorously via its underground rhizomes and can become very large.

- Use our special mix , composed of 50% blond peat, 25% horticultural soil and 25% perlite.
- Choose a bright environment but without direct sunlight. Artificial light can be beneficial.
- Place the plant indoors or in a terrarium/paludarium type structure with plenty of atmospheric humidity for optimal growth. Temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.
- Water with rainwater or demineralized water. The substrate must be kept moist all year round, but avoid stagnant water under the plant.
- In spring and summer, it is beneficial to spray the plant with fertilizer diluted to a quarter, twice a month.
