This false clover , native to South America, stands out with its intense yellow flowers which stand out strongly against the characteristic purple background of Oxalis triangularis but with a variation of lighter colors.

Similar to Oxalis articulata Burgundy yellow in its physiological characteristics, this oxalis is very suitable as an indoor plant or alongside other terrarium plants as long as it has enough space. Hanging it is often a good alternative when it reaches a good size. During the winter , this clover is less abundant, but recovers more beautifully in the spring.

Finally, this purple clover also has the particularity of folding its leaves at the end of the day to reopen them with the first rays of the sun, a bit like sensitive plants . Its shape is drooping after 30cm.

Characteristic: pot 9 cm

Maintenance of Oxalis vulcanicola

- Use our special mix , composed of 50% blond peat, 25% horticultural soil and 25% perlite. The soil used is decisive in the vigor of Oxalis articulata Burgundy yellow.

- Choose a very bright environment, as direct sunlight is no problem for him.

- Place the plant indoors or in a terrarium/paludarium type structure with plenty of atmospheric humidity for optimal growth. Temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.

- Water with rainwater or demineralized water. The substrate should be kept moist all year round, but avoid stagnant water under the plant.

- In winter and if there is not enough light, Oxalis triangularis articulata Burgundy yellow loses all or part of its leaves. Don't panic, this is normal, the plant enters a vegetative rest. In spring it will start growing again!
