Drosera hookeri is an annual carnivorous plant native to southern Australia , where it grows in sandy, moist soils in open areas. This species forms a small rosette of leaves covered with sticky tentacles capable of capturing small insects.

Compact and decorative, the plant has green to reddish leaves depending on sun exposure and produces small, usually white or pinkish flowers during the growing season. Drosera hookeri is valued for its small size and relatively easy cultivation.
