A tropical carnivorous plant par excellence, Drosera paradoxa is accustomed to the humid heat of the Northern Territory and Western Australia , where it grows naturally.
It produces a kind of disks covered with sticky hairs for attraction and capture, located at the end of straight and thin petioles, provided with white down. Its general appearance evokes an explosion of fireworks...

In winter, Drosera paradoxa adopts a more prostrate form and sees its leaves dry more quickly before recovering in spring.
