A tropical carnivorous plant par excellence, Drosera paradoxa is accustomed to the humid heat of the Northern Territory and Western Australia , where it grows naturally.
It produces a kind of disks covered with sticky hairs for attraction and capture, located at the end of straight and thin petioles, provided with white down. Its general appearance evokes an explosion of fireworks...

In winter, Drosera paradoxa adopts a more prostrate form and sees its leaves dry more quickly before recovering in spring.

Drosera paradoxa need bright light to thrive. Place your plant in a location where it receives bright indirect light to direct sunlight, such as near a south- or east-facing window.
Use an acidic, well-drained substrate mix
Keep the substrate always moist. Use distilled water, rainwater or demineralized water, as tap water may contain minerals that could damage the plant.
Drosera paradoxa like high humidity. You can place the plant on a saucer filled with water or use a humidity tray to maintain a humid environment around the plant.
This plant prefers moderate temperatures. Avoid extreme temperatures and rapid changes. A temperature range of 20°C to 25°C is generally ideal.
