Aloe Black Gem also called Alworthia Black Gem because this plant comes from a horticultural hybridization: Haworthia cymbiformis X Aloe sp.

Tolerating negative temperatures, this plant does not exceed 15 to 20 cm but forms remarkable tufts and turns black when exposed to sufficient sun.
