Utricularia australis
6 to 8 cm long stalk
Ubiquitous aquatic carnivorous plant forming long branched out stalks with pockets all the long, which suck up the small water preys when they get in the vicinity. The plant makes yellow flowers - they bloom out of the water. A very fast grower !

Leave outside all year long, no matter if some ice is formed during winter.

Calcareous free and low minerals water. Add oxygen plants (Elodea, Nymphaea...) to prevent from algae proliferation. Engrais

No substrat is required because the plant floats. About the Service Plus
(1) Unless otherwise stated, the plants are shipped bare root, wrapped in moist sphagnum moss. Prepare everything you need to repot them upon arrival. Each Tillandsia and Neoregelia is wrapped in a dry padded box.
(2) With the Service Plus (when available), the plants are shipped in their original pot, in a protective box, with a "Karnivores" label on which you can write the name of the plant. There's no need to repot them upon arrival, and acclimatization is much faster and easier.
