A rare and beautiful Nepenthes from the Sumatra highlands. Our specimens have well-grown, typical pitchers.

Sarracenia x wrigleyana 'white form'

Parentage : psittacina x leucophylla 'white top'.
Astonishing natural hybrid between Sarracenia psittacina and Sararcenia leucophylla. Nature has worked well, since it has kept the main features that make these species so famous, that is, very tilted parrot beak-shaped leaves (inherited from S. psittacina), but taller, and with a white ascendancy on their upper part (reminiscent of S. leucophylla).
As the name says it, the pitchers have more white than on the regular Sarracenia x wrigleyana. This wonderful colouration is due to the use of a very white-pitchered S. leucophylla as one of the parent. A very rare hybrid - a must-have if you like the genus !
From November to March, the plant's foliage disappears partially. It is then delivered as a rhizome, ready to grow back in spring.
NB : When we wrap the plant, the tallest pitchers are cut off, for more conveniency. New ones will be produced quickly.

Up to 45°C in summer and from -15 to 15°C in winter.

Only rain, demineralized or osmosed water. A mineralized (and especially calcareous) water may be lethal in the long term.

The carnivovous plants mix is the standard soil, but you can do it by yourself using 2/3 of sphagnum peat moss, plus 1/3 of perlite and vermiculite, or quartz sand.
Sphagnum moss is suitable too. About the Service Plus
(1) Unless otherwise stated, the plants are shipped bare root, wrapped in moist sphagnum moss. Prepare everything you need to repot them upon arrival. Each Tillandsia and Neoregelia is wrapped in a dry padded box.
(2) With the Service Plus (when available), the plants are shipped in their original pot, in a protective box, with a "Karnivores" label on which you can write the name of the plant. There's no need to repot them upon arrival, and acclimatization is much faster and easier.
