Nepenthes rafflesiana f. gigantea
13 to 16 cm of diameter
Superb form of the species N. rafflesiana. This clone is called "Brunei Giant" referring to the name of its natural habit. This plant is similar to N. bicalcarata and N. rajah in terms of size, but grows somewhat faster. The pitchers are stunningly red speckled and air two beautiful wings along with a wide peristome. The leaves are dark red if exposed to good light. It's a lowland plant to grow in a warm and humid atmosphere.

Température
From 20 to 35°C all year long.
Eau
Only rain, demineralized or osmosed water. A mineralized (and especially calcareous) water may be lethal in the long term.

Use the Nepenthes mix or do it by yourself using sphagnum moss, bark, coconut fibre and sphagnum peat moss. About the Service Plus
(1) Unless otherwise stated, the plants are shipped bare root, wrapped in moist sphagnum moss. Prepare everything you need to repot them upon arrival. Each Tillandsia and Neoregelia is wrapped in a dry padded box.
(2) With the Service Plus (when available), the plants are shipped in their original pot, in a protective box, with a "Karnivores" label on which you can write the name of the plant. There's no need to repot them upon arrival, and acclimatization is much faster and easier.
