This charming plant grows near San Luis Potosi, Mexico. This variety produces a strong quantity of white wool, denser than on the typical species Mammillaria bocasana. It divides in several balls measuring up to 8 cm in diameter, and covered with many very attractive small lively pink flowers. Turns into an impressive bundle in a few years.

We deliver all cacti with their roots contained in a mini clod. They are to repot.

Conseils spécifiques pour cette espèce

Température

Température Up to 50°C. Prevent it from undergoing temperatures below 0°C. A few months with a cool temperature (below 15°C), between October and March, are necessary for the dormancy of the plant.

Eau

Eau Use a limestone-free water. In summer, a substantial watering each week is necessary. Do not hesitate to wet the plant so as to wash it. In spring and autumn, water every 3 weeks. Do not bring any water in winter. Make sure that the soil is dry before water, and do it when the weather is warm and sunny.

Engrais

Engrais Once a month, from March till September, provide a dose of fertilizer for cacti.

Luminosité

Luminosité Full sun during the growing period, from March till October. In winter, if you cannot leave it outside, placeit in a cool room, even if light is very weak. After winter, gradually get the plant used to sunlight again.

Substrat

Substrat Use the mix for cacti. After repotting, don't water before a few days, so as to let the roots establish again.
