Lobivia aurea var. dobeana
4 to 6 cm
Lobivia aurea. var dobeana grows in Sierra Ancasti, Agentina. It is a small spherical cactus with a moderately dense homogeneous thorny system. The spines are rather short also. They are almost black on the base, whereas they are white in their extremity. This species quickly produces magnificent large-sized red flowers, reaching 8 cm in diameter and 10 cm long.
We deliver all cacti with their roots contained in a mini clod. They are to repot using the provided compost and pot.

Température
Up to 50°C. Prevent it from undergoing temperatures below 0°C. A few months with a cool temperature (below 15°C), between October and March, are necessary for the dormancy of the plant.
Eau
Use a limestone-free water. In summer, a substantial watering each week is necessary. Do not hesitate to wet the plant so as to wash it. In spring and autumn, water every 3 weeks. Do not bring any water in winter. Make sure that the soil is dry before water, and do it when the weather is warm and sunny. Engrais

Full sun during the growing period, from March till October. In winter, if you cannot leave it outside, placeit in a cool room, even if light is very weak. After winter, gradually get the plant used to sunlight again. Substrat
