Gymnocalycium horstii
4 to 6 cm
Gymnocalycium horstii is native to Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This small spherical plant is light green, gleaming in the sun. The weak density of spikes allows good appreciation of it. The ribs are very prominent, gibing it a convex aspect. The very clear pink flowers arrive quickly, and you will not be disappointed - they measure up to 10 cm in diameter.
We deliver all cacti with their roots contained in a mini clod. They are to repot.

Température
Up to 50°C. Prevent it from undergoing temperatures below 0°C. A few months with a cool temperature (below 15°C), between October and March, are necessary for the dormancy of the plant.
Eau
Use a limestone-free water. In summer, a substantial watering each week is necessary. Do not hesitate to wet the plant so as to wash it. In spring and autumn, water every 3 weeks. Do not bring any water in winter. Make sure that the soil is dry before water, and do it when the weather is warm and sunny. Engrais
Once a month, from March till September, provide a dose of fertilizer for cacti. Luminosité
Partially shaded sunlight. In winter, if you cannot leave it outside, placeit in a cool room, even if light is very weak. After winter, gradually get the plant used to sunlight again. Substrat
