Native to Sierra Oscura and O Chihuahua, Mexico, this magnificent cylindrical cactus is covered with a high density of short prickles. The newest ones, on the top of the plant, raise an intense pink. Blooming quickly intervenes ; the pink to mallow color of the flower, and above all, its diameter -more than 7 cm- are remarkable !
This species is easy to grow and blooms abundantly every year, as long as the dormancy is respected.
We deliver all cacti with their roots contained in a mini clod. They are to repot using the provided compost and pot.

Température
Up to 50°C. Prevent it from undergoing temperatures below 0°C. A few months with a cool temperature (below 15°C), between October and March, are necessary for the dormancy of the plant.
Eau
Use a limestone-free water. In summer, a substantial watering each week is necessary. Do not hesitate to wet the plant so as to wash it. In spring and autumn, water every 3 weeks. Do not bring any water in winter. Make sure that the soil is dry before water, and do it when the weather is warm and sunny. Engrais
Once a month, from March till September, provide a dose of fertilizer for cacti. Luminosité
Full sun during the growing period, from March till October. In winter, if you cannot leave it outside, placeit in a cool room, even if light is very weak. After winter, gradually get the plant used to sunlight again. Substrat
